Cops picked it right out as it drove by before they even got the info about a stolen car. They suspected something because it was two hispanics driving it... ran my plates... Hm. not a 19-year-old caucasian male.

then I got my car back later that day. Everything in stock. Nothing stolen except a gallon or two of gas. Fun day. Like it was part of my daily routine or something, it took no time at all.

And who says racial profiling doesn't work?

LOL, that hilarious!

I have been known to disconnect my battery when parked on occasion.

Wow, this happened near Harrisburg? I didn't think crime was that bad in that part of the state. I guess I've just been lucky. Maybe Carlisle is far enough from Harrisburg to have a lower crime rate...

It's a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, especially in my area. The stars aligned just right for it to happen, so it did, it's whatever. Been quite a few days and still nothing is wrong with my car, even got the tires replaced, and I'm investing in a new alarm system.

Yes, Warden. Definitely spic, definitely span. Uh. Let's see if I dodge a warning with that one.

Disconnecting the battery... that's going into the book of possibilities.

All i know is that they're gone, out of this country. For now. Apparently there was a slew of at least 3 car-jackings in this area, with many people in cahoots. So hats off to the police depts. on this one. Then again, if they were all as stupid as the ones who stole a car with expired inspection, beat tires and Marines stickers all over the back, it wasn't too rough a task to begin with.

did I die for a second there?...
