I think hes trying to be a smart butt. B)

Even if he isnt (and it WAS possible) it would probably defeat the purpose of either barrel.

I don't know if the tip is not flared or whatnot, but if it isnt, undergroundmodshop has apex adaptors you can put on the tip of just about any barrel and then put the apex on it.

Wait a while and buy a Lapco Big Shot with an Apex already mounted to it or buy the Apex and the Apex ready Big Shot.

nope I is serious. Several people have mounted an Apex tip on AA fronts. There is an adaptor made by UMS that allows it.
Also the set-up i mentioned is better than a bigshot with Apex.

I didn't realize there was an adapter made to do that, I just asumed you jury-rigged it on there yourself.

You just measue the eip of your barrel and send the specs to one of the guys at UMS and he will sedn to the right adaptor tip. or you can just send the barrel and hewill take care of it. makes it easier but little more expensive becasue of shipping.

he is very right the adaptor gives you the best of both worlds, a nice flatline effect when you want it, and the accuracy of an all american barrel (or any other aftermarket barrel) when you are in closer proximities.
