i know that a sabre is pretty much a large group of jobs, but if you have higher rates of fire then most people on you team, would you normally use the tactics for jobs like heavy rifleman and heavy moble gunner or focus on moving up the feild leading the lighter players that cant get up there becuase they are drawn in a firefight and dont move when its best to move

(i aint got anything against any lighter player then some on the team i started with my friends)

Use whatever tactics work best for you. I suggest you don't worry too much about the positions.

The two best things you can do for yourself in paintball are.

1. Being familiar with your gear

2. communicating with your team on and off the feild

everything else will just fall into place.

dont make people do tactics based on their position, make them do tactics based on their abilities/disabilities

spec ops positions are guide lines not rules. Keep doing what you have been doing you play pretty good.

If your first main question is, "If you have firepower, do you use it to help your lighter and less armed/capable teammates?", then the answer is yes. Do whatever you can to help out your team. Give them cover with your firepower to advance or fall back. Use that firepower as a distraction. Before I had this firepower thing I'd always let a friend unload with his E-grip non-stop while I moved up. Your a team, work together and combine your skills. Help eachother out.

i think that the only 2 positions that really matter are commander and a desginated heavy gunner/hammer to do most of te covering. everyone else should do what they're good at.

I think that it all depends on the players your with and the situation. For example, when my squad makes contact, I like being able to move quick (well I try) set up and lay bursts of support for my faster guys. I like to run and gun as much as anybody, I think that if you can add suppression with a fast moving element, then all the power to you. But like I said, it all depends. That's half the fun and challenge though, working on the fly.
