I emailed out meeting minutes. Any MSB members that did not get them, please PM me your email address so I can add you to the distribution list.

They are a draft copy, so let me know what I missed or need to correct before the next meeting.

BTW - Where is the meeting saturday and what time? Same time and place?

OK i got a big room held for the W. Point Game at the Palisade motel. 2 rooms with 3 beds with max people allowed in room is 6. cost is $216.22 for 2 days, less if someone has AAA we can use.
there is a room right next to it for $85 + tax per night with max occ. 4 if we need it but we would have to book that one as well.
break down so far is:
$22 per person for the big room if we can get away with cramming all of us in there. if we have to get both rooms it should be around $40 per person for both rooms for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday.
my calculations is based on 10 people attending.
what do you guys think, should we stick with the 1 or get both?

edit: the motel is about 1 mile from W. point academy

Meh, I'm fine with it. Sucks, but it's better than camping out on the field(if they allow it). Any motels around there?

They do allow camping on the grounds on WP. Dog was very clear about WP being dry grounds... not that this is important but is something to keep in mind. We also have members that have allergies and asthma and could not withstand a night in the elements and still be able to play the next day, also keep that in mind

"Just a reminder: West Point doesn't allow anyone to bring drugs/alcohol on to the grounds so we shouldn't be having any alcohol fueled problems. Feel free to cut loose at places in the surrounding area but we have a zero tolerance policy in effect when it comes to the drugs/alcohol on the grounds. (This applies to EVERYONE at the game.) I have a pretty big pop up camper if camping looks like a possibility. It can sleep 5 comfortably, more if you're feelin' a little brokeback. Besides, a lot of crap could get hauled in it, as well as peeps in my truck. If you figure gas split up, and money saved on lodging, that would probably would come out pretty cheap. As far as that goes, a tent or 2 would make up for the rest of us, or we could get a hotel room for some, and the rest can crash in the camper. It might be nice to have a center of operations close to the action, as well as an escape near by (chug, chug). Wouldn't hurt to have a shower availablefor the funkyness. Let me know what you guys think. C-YA!!!

A cramped hotel room instead of camping? I thought you were an eagle boy scout, lol. Had to bust your chops.
