Well, turned 18 a few weeks back. For me that meant voting, guns, and cigars lol.

Right now my firearms collection consists of:
Posted Image
Remington 700 chambered in 300 Win. Mag. That's my big game gun. Getting elk, cougar, bear tags tomorrow.

Posted Image
M1A Scout chambered in .308.

Posted Image
Stevens 325 12 gauge. That shotgun belonged to my great grandpa. It has got quite the history behind it.

Posted Image
Ruger 10/22. Gotta love a .22. So much cheap fun with those.

If all goes as planned I'll be getting a Barrett Rec7 before the year is out. I still can't take a .223 seriously and I'm a fan of the gas piston system, but I love the AR platform.

Very nice guns. I don't have much, but I plan to add to my collection someday soon. Right now I just have a Springfield XD .40 and a Remington .22 semi-auto rifle. they're pretty fun.

Thank you. How do you like the Springfield? They look like nice guns, but I haven't shot one yet.

About the XD.40. Great pistol. I love mine.

Nice collection. .22's are fantastic fun.

Nice collection. I like AK's, though. I'm carefully choosing firearms now based on reliability and ammunition availability. I don't know what the coming years will bring, but I want guns that will WORK and that I'll always be able to feed. If I get a job making a lot of money, I might be able to afford some cool toys like AR's, but I'm going for semi-auto AK's now before the Dimowits ban them. In the long run, they're a hell of a lot more attractive than an AR.

well if ur sick of the old arguments you will now be able to play the "I'm 18" card... it will never work in your favor but it's entertaining sometimes.

I hear you there. Personally I don't much care for the AK's ergonomics. The Scout is very reliable and .308 isn't hard to find. Barrett's AR styled rifle is in 6.8 so I was hestitant about getting a caliber new to the market. However, it looks like 6.8SPC is here to stay so I'm going for the Rec7. Barrett has worked the bugs out of it and it is a gas piston to boot so I'm not worried about its reliability.

Yep. Season is year round. Our neighbor almost hit one last month and had one in a tree by his house a few days ago. We've decided to practice some population management. lol.

^^ Lame joke.

You can buy handguns just not from a licensed dealer. Search the papers!

My dad has a springfeild. It is a fun gun to shoot but the scope mount that comes with it is horrible. It is pretty accurate but it isnt that accurate. It kicks pretty good but not too bad.
