i've been in the process of building my own ghillie suit since i'm creative...and i can't make up my mind on which way to go
i'll post pictures of it when i'm done but if you've ever seen the "sniper veils" offered by various sites such as opsgear and the like
that exact veil using the flecktarn but not from the site
using three of these i hope to cover my back down to my calves and out to my forearms hopefully, i used one and cut it in half already to form the hood and the gun ghillie, the netting is large enough to slide just through so thats a wonderful plus and it's very light and breathable which also nice for my area, i plan to use one horizontally across my shoulders down my arms and one down my back to hopefully make me disappear when i lay down, i was probably going to tie it around my waist and limbs
does anyone think i'm wasting my time or is it a worthy endeavor?

i'm having a tough time imagining what you're explaining here.

simple veils used alone are so so camouflage methods.

securing some sort of ghillie material to them is a different story.

buying these to screen in windows you cut into your BDU's, so they breath is a good idea.

using them to break up the shape of your head, rifle/marker etc is an excellent way to use 'em...
