There has been some talk in the thread about a high end woods gun for rec/scenario etc

so I thought about it and here is what I want to see.....

The function of the t68 gen4 with the magazines holding the 18 rounds (25 would be better) and the on board tank design hidden in the stock. I also like the built in red dot, the carrying handle, and the rail system...

the reason this marker is not what we all hope for is the internals are spyder and therefore a blowback it also runs on high pressure...

the solution is to combine the pros of this marker with that of the tiberius t9.... Allow me to elaborate..

A high quality efficient internal low pressure design with quality materials.

the reason the t9 is not what we all hope for is the clip design only holds 8 rounds on a rifle (wich is ok on a pistol but a rifle come on)

also I would like to see this marker in camo

and come with a c series stiffi (personal preference)

I would pay well over $1,000 if I had to..

If you agree here or have your own 2 cents to add on a high end woods gun feel free to vent

You just about described a Classic valved Tac-One Automag - just without a built in tank, carrying handle, and magazine feed. It sounds like more of a high-end milsim marker rather than a woodsball gun - But it's an excellent idea.

It would be nice, but I wouldn't spend over $500 for it let alone $1,000.

not that it needs to cost $1,000 but I would gladly pay said amount...

also the mag comment yes I understand but it doesn't come with options like described does it??? Hence the idea for a new marker with all the said features would be uber sweet..

That sounds like a good idea but I would prefer to put together a setup of my own. Mod work is within my abilities and I find that it is difficult to get the right stock and sight-riser combination without customization.

i got a high end woodsball marker list for you.. and this is from personal experience.

**also remember that the words high end and woodsball are a misnomer. any marker may be used in woods/scenario. what most of the industry considers woods, they consider rec, ergo the lack of electro high end milsim markers.

here's a list of VERY good markers for woods/rec/scenario play.
invert mini, ion pro, F8, X7, A-5, 98C, Phantoms, sp8, and a slew of more durable high ends.

i too think the t68 could use some tweaking with the design, but milsim doesnt mean high end. the engler dragunov marker is probably the sweetest milsim marker i have seen, but its still a 98 on the inside. same with arkion, x7's, a5's, warsensor, etc. you want high end, pay attention to the guts. i use a double trouble and an F8 Fusion. the F8 is the only speedball marker other than the ion that fits my personal prerequisites for a marker.... easy to maintain, easy to program, or have programmed, easy to assemble, disassemble, durable, and lots of info to look through should there be a problem.

besides, everyone knows you can screw up a high end performance by tinkering, therefore adding upgrades could just as well hinder as much as help you.

my F8 shoots 25bos outa the box. i put a magna hopper and a 68/4500 tank on it. you know what? i wouldnt trade it for world peace. why? because everyone knows that once you get the right setup you keep with it.

No way I'd pay over 350 for this marker. It may be worth more, but not to me. Cool idea though.

$1,000... the invisible barrier for most paintball players. ive probably invested 2-3K into my double trouble and accompanying hammer setup to support it, but i'll tell ya, once everything is strapped on and that crankshaft starts turning, i know exactly WHY i did it. hope that little bit of info helps.

A t-9 would not perfrom even close to what a high end gun does. It doesn't have to have a stock and weigh 40lbs to be a woodsball gun. I run a mini, 06 ego and a variety of other guns. They all work and I can get kills with them, doesn't matter whether you classify them speedball or woodsball.

It would be light, easy to use. quiet and most importantly look sweet.

blow forward low pressure marker with rails right on the body?
the back would allow a dog-leg with air through,
Or allow air on gun. and that crazy spec ops Q loader idea that is leet sauce ( founnd somewer on this forum..)
and with a crazy crack tac cap or hopper or hose attacthment idea..
still. 700 at most.

^^^ sounds like you're describing the cocker SF, very nice. i had one as well but sold it for my law and rockets. very sleek, rails, i put in a carbon fiber stiffi bolt. try one of those.

X& is alot more schnazzy than most think... you can just buy parts and make ANY milsim marker you want. easy to work on, very light, a little loud, durable, good tippy warranty. justr sayin, hey, look at whats readily available and popular... its that way because people like em.

Exactly. There aren't speedball markers and woodsball markers, thre are markers suited for speedball and marker suited for woodsball. I just like a stock cause I run remote. If you could put a stock on a Dye Matrix 4-6, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is my new "Woodsball" marker (Bought it off blackrain!), I play all styles of paintball very heavily... (Try to play once a weekend if not twice), Personally I see no difference in the markers, I just like what most people call "Speedball" Guns. they can be used for everything, "Woodsball" guns on the other hand are usually stocked and LONG guns. It makes snapshooting nearly impossible and thats a HUGE part of my game. IDK just my personal opinion.
