No.

You should just play how you have the most fun, and not worry about a label. I shoot a pump, am I a 'sniper'? No, I rush the lines. Just play and stop worrying about tags.

Mongoose, Bill's right. Sniper sub-classes exist, but the only thing they're good for (IMO) is to make you sound better when you're out having a beer afterwards. I play sniper/recon/tactical shooter/whatever you want to call it, and I never consider myself to be a sub-class of anything. If my CO/XO tells me they need me to run flank, I run flank. If they need me to cover the base, I cover. If they need eyes on, I'm on reconnaissance. If they need somebody taken out, I'm on target. And yes, if my CO/XO tells me to lose the ghillie, get on the line and send rounds down range like an AC-130 Spook, I tuck it away, get my six on the line and let loose.

The way I see it, we're all specialists enough as it is. After all, there are paintballers. In that vein, there are speedballers and woodballers. Digging deeper in the woodball side, you now have sniper/dagger/hammer/etc. We're already three levels deep; we certainly don't need more specializing. More specializing only leads to a more limited usefulness.

Bill for the win. Just play paintball. If you want to 'snipe' for a game, do it. Next game play differently. I too play pump and am all up int he op for's grill. I hate the position labels. If you're a 'dagger' does that mean youcan never play back? For the love of god just play some ball and work up a sweat.

same here, really, i play dagger all the time, because its what i'm good at, but i'll lay down supressing if it'll get my team through

really, the class is something your good at, not what your restricted to

(although if you REALLLY want a class)

bunker buster

get behind bunker, shoot it up
"tippman rocks, if you think the same, put this in your sig"
"if the first thing you would grab if your house was on fire is your paintball gear, put this in your sig"
"if you love paintball more then your relatives, put this in your sig"
"if you are addicted to paintball, put this in your sig"
