For me deciding on what marker to buy I always have and always will go with reliability 1st. Bob Long makes an awesome marker but they dont have any where near the reliability track record as Eclipse markers.

Buy an older Ego if price is an issue. An 07 is an AWESOME marker and will not leave you wanting.

While I know that PE's reliability is top notch, I honestly haven't heard of many Vices going down. The main thing im looking for is performance. My question is could you justify spending 500 dollars more for a gun that probably the same performance. If my statement is not true please enlighten me.

It comes down to preference. I have not heard on any Vices going down either, Im just going off of BL vs PE. I like the size and feel of the EGO over the Vice but that is me. They are essentially the same as fare as design (poppit design) but with some small differences. It really is what feels good to you. i have 30 + reasons why *I* would buy an Ego but that is me and what I like.

Thanks man, honestly I would LOVE to shoot both but living in the middle of Kansas prohibits that a little bit lol.

Is it true that shooting an ego will improve your chances of picking up the ladies by 78%?

true but for Dan it only works on old ladies who work at gas stations

I shot the GEO at world cup and loved it. It was SMALL!! the gun is very smooth and has a perfect feel to it. It is quiet but not as quiet as the Droid or the DM. The design is soooo simple and easy to maintain.

I got an etek 1, and I must say it is the nicest gun I have ever shot. It was such a change to go from an A-5 which shoots like " Bap--Bap--Bap" to an etek which shoots like "BBBBBBBBRRRRRRAAAAAAAAPPPPPP!" So much firepower. ;) Anyways I got a question for you guys. As stated I have an etek1, but would like to get an etek2/ego reg. Anyway I can order one from an official site, and not have to search around on the B/S/T forums?

Thanks

Only place I could find them was directly from Eclipse, and they are in short supply.

It works on my computer, but go to the PE site and click eclipse accessories, and go to page two.

I found them. Go to the PE website and search for Regulators. Sort of expensive at $63.

IMO they are well worth it. I think the best reg on the market is the AKA reg and the 08 09 PE regs are built very similar. the PE regs are as consistent as any reg on the market and easy to maintain. I paid $95 for the AKA reg.
