This is a Soft Box:

You can find them around. What it does is diffuse the light and even it out. Example: When you use a flash on something in a dark room, the light all comes from one direction. If you are in a lit room, you can have multiple light sources and multiple shadows. Using a soft box diffuses the light and spreads it evenly to avoid shadows, giving a clear view of the object to be photographed. This one we got off Amazon for about $25. They come in various sizes and prices. You can get ones larger than this.
This is a picture of my mask using the sun as a light source:

This is still using the Sun as a light source, but in the soft box:
Number of downloads: 20
You could do this indoors with dummy lights or any kind of light that is pointed directly at the soft box. Put one on the left and one on the right (Or one from the top) facing in towards the box and take your pics! The one mistake I made was in not turning the box so that the corner was facing my light source (Since I only used one), thus giving me light in two panels. Next time I suppose.
