The Landing Zone Is now an Authorized Milsim Corp league field. One of only three in the state of Michigan. We are looking for teams of 5-7 players to compete against team SPECTRE for the field title of the best scenario team and the chance to go to the regional's in Oct. Go to the landingzonepaintball.com, Spectrehq.org, or milsimcorp.com for more details.

What he means is milsimcorps.com

That is the best place for info on the league. MilSim Corps is a new league that is nationwide. It looks to be really promising and we're hoping to get some teams out there to play against!

So ... if you're going to announce this ... we should probably do it right:

According to the Milsim Corp website - they have a calendar for the matches at The Landing Zone. The dates are listed below:

4/24/2010
5/8/2010
6/19/2010
7/31/2010
8/14/2010
9/18/2010
10/16/2010

My questions:

1) Does the 50% discount Registration Fee apply at the Landing Zone (i.e. -- are you a "participating field" for the discount)?

2) Does the $99 registration fee cover a single player or an entire team?

3) To clarify the above questions -- please let me know what the total cost would be for a 6-man registration of a team if registering at The Landing Zone.

1.) The registration discount apples to the first 50 people to register at the LZ.

2.) Each player pays their own registration. $99/player ($49.50 with the discount.)

3.) It doesn't cost anything to register a team, but if 6 players registered it would be $594 total. Once they register with the league as players they can register a team for free. Although, per the league rules, a seven player team is the optimum number.

It is closer for you guys to play in Columbiaville. That is where we will be playing not Lansing.

This is true, I thought you guys were traveling *embarrassed*

We want to play at other fields all over Michigan, and I thought you guys were doing the same. Guess I should have read it closer. We will be playing at LZ at least once this year whether or not we join in the league.

Either way, we will see you guys soon!

Yes we will be playing at other fields in Michigan and outside the state, But the Milsim league is played at one field for the season.

So we have to play at just one field for all the missions? I thought we could go to all the different fields. I thought there were 3 in Michigan. So if I want to compete in all missions, I have to do it at just one field?

You can compete in all the missions at all the fields, but not separately if that makes sense. Basically you can play all six missions at all three fields for a total of 18 missions, but you can't play two at each one for a total of six. If you want to complete the "operation" you have to play all six missions at at least one field. There's no limit to the amount of fields you can play extra missions at though.

So we can compete in each mission at a different field, as long as we don't plan on completing the operation. To complete the operation, we have to do all six missions (or however may we manage to make) at the same field. We can come to other fields than whatever one we consider "Home" but we don't get the points for those mission on the cumulative scale (Just for the day). Next Question....Are all events on the same day at different fields?

To the best of my knowledge you have to compete at one field to be put in a bracket for regionals. You can compete at more than one but have to play all the missions at at least one. Each individual field sets up what days each mission is played and they can run a certain mission (1 through 6) multiple times if need be and if they have teams to play them.

If so, hit up the league forum and let us know how it went down.
