Multicam ACU's all the way.

Cheap alternative- RAP4 has what they call an 8 color desert pattern ACU. The color is pretty damn close to the real thing and its a true ACU cut.

Pink camo. Hey, you said and gal's
Back when I first started playing i found some pink camo pants- unfortunately they dont fit me anymore. Also ordered a jersey from animal that was pink camo. Unfortunately i got a youth small insteada a small... made my 3yo cuz a very happy camper with a new shirt. better be with a $60 present.

Okok in all seriousness... The old dark bdu's are the only things that work in NH. However when I went to MI, I found that the desert digicam all the just-back-from-iraq soldiers were wearing worked great. Its really something that depends on area...

For camo, I prefer regular old green.

SAFETY YELLOW!

our firetruckstrucks are that color. we actually had afight during a business meeting between rescue captain, cheif, and deputy cheif over whether the color was 'slime green' 'safety yellow' or 'safety green'

we called up the factory and it is indeed yellow. you, sir, lose.

I've got a set of MARPATs, British jungle DPM, German Flecktarn, plain old woodlands, and Multicam, and I like the DPM and Flecktarn the best. They're cheap, they work very well, and I've seen very few people with either.

While not nearly as effective as other camo patterns, I have and always will like Woodland best. However, I think I'm going to give mulitcam a shot for wearing while playing paintball.

I have a spec ops digi fest and new camo bottoms and top coming int he mail, they are spec ops digi i think the pants are darker tho. this pattern seems to be pretty effective in the temperate forest/pine forest. i have seen MARPAT (what the marines wear in the states) work very well in dark areas. The army ACU in my opinion is supposed to be well rounded but doesnt really fit anywhere particularily well. cadpat works awesome in the late spring when everything is bright green. it also looks pretty cool. tiger stripe isnt very popular but i have seen it work pretty well, and i think it looks the coolest out of all of them i wish i had a full tiger stripe bdu. oh and good old woodland always works lol

anyone know if any military branches/divisions use cadpat?

ACU works fairly well in certain areas of the Southwest and Midwest, depending on the season. ACU likes semi-arid brush and grasslands to perform best. Also not bad in arid urban/rural areas. It's not my favorite pattern out there (that would be Multicam) but it can be used effectively, just not in forests.

The Canadian Armed forces use CADPAT- hence its name, which comes from CAnaDa PATtern.

I collect camo from all over/different eras, so I try to use whatever blends best with the terrain or the scenario if I feel like being "historically accurate." If I had only one pattern to choose for the best all-around performance in varied terrain, I'd go with Multicam- or maybe Omnipat, since it uses the same color palette in a different pattern.

If any of you live in Wisconsin, how does Omnipat work? If you don't, Wisconsin has green shrubs and trees, a dark and light background of tree trunks sunlight, a grayish green ground, and small, open fields of green and dead yellow grass.
