GTF Corps Masters team is planning on attending the Tenn. Qualifier. None of us have ever played at Bear Claw, so we look forward to checking out a new field. Hope to see some great competition, and if anybody knows of some decent hotels around the field that are not going to charge an arm and a leg we would appreciate the heads up. See everyone in September.

We'll if Shadow, SOCOM, Rebel Force & GTF are all in ...let's just make it a old-home reunion.

Xtreme Fanatics will toss our hat in the ring too.

Save us a parking spot & don't drink all the beer before we get there (especially Jester) :panzer:

(psst ... the Jack Daniels Distillery is really close to the field too)

Already checked that out... Bear Claw is ADA compliant & has wheelchair/walker access. The tennis balls are looking a little shabby on the walker though, so I'll take you up on your most gracious offer!! I'll try to remember to bring you up a nice Lawrence Welk or Barry Manillo 8-track from my collection as payment

Now if I can just get Spec Ops soft goods to finish my custom pants with integral Depends holder, I'll be all set.

I think there are a couple listed on the Bearclaw website, but I've never stayed at any of them & can't recommend anything.

As a suggestion, you might want to check out vacation rentals in the area. TN has a double buttload of them & a lot of tiimes you can get a 5+ bedroom house/lodge/cabin for under 200.00/night. At 10 plus players, thats under $20.00/night & they usually are fully furnished, including kitchen/fridge.

I've stayed at the Best Western a number of times when playing at Bearclaw and have zero complaints. It's one of the closest to the field (not that there's much in the way of choices in Fayetteville for hotels).
Much of it has been renovated over the last year or so. Clean rooms and only one right/left turn between it and the road that Bearclaw is on...so it's easy to get back and forth for folks like me that are horrible with directions.

Here's the addy...

The Suicide Kings rented a beautiful cabin for the Utah Qualifier, and it was so much better than getting a hotel. It really helped to have the whole team together to relax and hang out. It also was a great place to celebrate our second-place finish. :P

Vacation rentals are definitely the way to go, if they are available.
