Hey, I've got a few custom "paintjobs" on my gear. We use licensed Multicam material for our "hydro printing."

Enjoy:

very nice job, just a couple questions, did you just put the hydrographic over the rubber of the grip on that 98c? how are the grips affected by the coating? and with that mask you did, does the hydrographic coat flex well enough to not crack off?

Thanks for the questions!

First off, the rubber grip once mounted to the marker, doesn't do a lot of moving. We painted the gold color base on the grip, then applied the graphic. Once dry, we blasted the center piece to kind of "weather" it per say. Kind of like the end result. We use Duracoat for a starting point, then add our own flex agents and adhesion promoters to it. The grips are not affected, other than the fact that that stuff does not like to come off! haha

As far as masks are concerned, we have been quite successful (lately) in painting them and getting the paint to stick. Keep in mind, paint is NOT meant to flex a whole lot. We have gotten a concoction put together that allows a lot of flex. Almost un-natural if you ask me. lol

Here is another mask we did:

we have had no cracking problems what-so-ever. I hope to complete a video soon showing the endurance of these masks.

Hope those were the answers you were looking for.
