Ahem..... Of the two years that I have used mine I have encountered only one problem. That problem is that my board, a "Y" which was never upgraded, burned out after I left the hopper on. The fall/push rate is around 19 a second which is not a problem for a majority of the markers out there. I used mine on my Xmag for some time, like I said with no problems. A good upgrade to have is the Z board. It retails for around $15 at most major PB sites, Action Village, 888, etc.

Some people have had the problem of the raceway breaking while pushing/ twisting it into their feedneck. The raceway is a two piece design that clasps to itself inside the hopper shell. This two piece design makes it a bit flimsy but is needed or some people would not be able to remove the servo when needed.

Another upgrade that has come out in the past year is a thicker shell. The original Evl 2 used thin screw mounts around the outer raceway shell which are prone the cracking during harsh play.

All in all I think this is a good hopper for the money. A smaller package than the Halo and just slightly slower. This of course can be fixed with the Z board. You will never out shoot this hopper using a mechanical marker.
A good 9 out of 10.

man i love my egg its had been dropped in a river and filled up with water and it still ran fine all i had to do was wipe it clean. only problem that i had with it is that i had to sand the feed neck to fit my piranha, then when i got my cocker the feed neck was too small, i know that most of you would say why don't you get an new feed neck for your cocker but the thing is that on my pro stock the feed neck doesnt remove so now i have to tape it with duct tape to fit my cocker. if i would have to buy another hopper it would definitely be an eggy. I recommend this hopper to anyone woodsballer or to a speedballer.

yea and egg is definitely a great hopper for the money and it can nearly match up with a halo b or an empire. if you're on a tight budget and want a good eletro hopper, then this is for u
