so im deciding where to get a 14"stiffi or the "Smart Parts 5-Piece Freak Junior Barrel Mini Kit"

they're about the same price. 90 i think
these are the only two choices cos the site im buying it at only has these two but on sale :ghillie: (other kits at the site are $150+ ...)

suggestions and opinions?

edit: found another kit in the price range. "Smart Parts 3-Piece Freak Barrel w/ Aluminum Back and Insert "

With a kit it is much easier to find a Paint to Bore match...but I prefer one-piece barrels for their simplicity and style. Either way the accuracy will be the same with good PtoB match.

I've used both, and from my experience I'd say Freak Kit all the way. Stiffi may be lighter, but its so much easier to get paint to match when all you need do is switch inserts. Also, I've found the Freak to be just as quiet as the Stiffi.

I've also heard rumours that Stiffi's dont like fluffy swabs.

or you could get the best of both worlds with a deadly wind carbon fiber barrel

it accepts freak inserts, also I've heard questionable things about the aluminum inserts, so might be a good idea to go with the stainless steel inserts

FREAK KIT.

you will love the paint to barrel match you can get with a kit, you shoot darts all the time! I love my barrel kit, not a freak but i've used a freak and they are nice.

ok because this is the first stiffi related topic i could find and instead of posting a whole new thread i'm going to ask everyone around.
( mods be prepaired to get PM'ed within 48 hours if it isn't answered :()

The Stiffi barrel system. how long does it go?
I'v seen alot of 12' and 14' but i'm intrested in looking for a 16' ( cuz thats how I roll ;))
second question. the tip of the stiffi. is it 7/8 ths inch or is it a full inch. ( I have a fake supressor. quite barrel, louder barrel shroud ?)

as for staying on topic. I think were both in the same predicament so i'll wait it out and see how you do with your choice. lol
