Down barrel and feedneck is usually the o-rings on the end of the rammer assy or a worn / improper seated exhaust valve (poppet)

However it could be one of two regs turned up too much.

leaking barb or microline - but this usually leaks around grip and body.

ego 5 manual

There's the manual - print it out - there's some tech info there. Let us know how you made out.

pg 48-49 in the manual. I really hate doing that part. Ego and Timmies had the same problem. Pain in the arse.

I would use lube, but I think oil will do the trick too.

UMP something else I thought about was if the rammer assy slid back. There's a set screw above the handle to keep the rammer assy tightly forward. This screw should be locktited with medium strength.

You may need fresh o rings. Depending on how many shots the gun has cycled.

After you fired it started to leak is common for the rammer assy sliding back. Did you push it tightly forward and use locktite on the set screw? You need to wait for the locktite to cure.

Man this is deja vu on a Timmy I had to fix. Same design.

edit - is the hole in the rammer assy chewed up where the set screw goes?
