I see a lot of talk out on the web regarding guillie suits and expensive made for paintball gear in the latest and greatest digital print pattern.

What happened to buying stuff from your local box mart during hunting season.

I just picked up a full head to toe set of Real Tree HD camo at the local wally world for around 75 dollars total.

This included: (from head to Toe)
Mesh head mask
Long sleeve jersey style shirt
Mesh gloves
Belt
BDU Style Pants

as well as a few rols of both duct tape and cloth tape in the same pattern.

the only thing better than this stuff off the shelf I have seen is the 3-d version with the fake leaves on it that helps to break up your pattern better.

Anyone else out there running off the shelf camo to help stay on the cheap a little?

Mossy oak is one of the best flat camos... the greens and stuff make it blend in better than a grey brown camo such as realtree.

I like the ghillie suit i made because it cost slightly over 20$ to make...

hunter camos arent good for paintball player/military people because it is a "static" pattern, meaning it isnt good for when youre moving, which tends to happen alot in paintball. (yes, even snipers move). it works well for hunters because they dont move while hunting. that is why ghillie suits are so effective. they dont have a pattern. check out This site (mine) for four diffferent sets of ghillie instructions if you feel you want to make your own.
btw, should this be in "camo"

I use a few differant kinds of walmart camo. But my favorite that I have used is the 3d mossy oak/realtree stuff. If you crawl alot, it is perfect any season, and in the fall it is the best to have.

Shadow...Ill have to dissagre with you, hunter camos are EXCELENT. My friend has a hunter ghillie suit, and hes almost invisable, even when crouched or standing...I personally like digi-camo, because its light, and i move around alot

well..thats a ghillie suit. haha. they tend to do that. i wouldnt buy one that didnt. i think he's talkin about normal bdu and hunter garb. i would suggest real tree. its like a super light ghillie suit.

i was talking about normal FLAT hunter camo. i also have a hunter ghillie suit that works pretty good. another problem with the flat camo is the branches, leaves, grass, etc. drawn on the fabric dont cast a shoadow, witch is unnatural

The flat camo works fine. No one is going to be looking for shadows of leaves. It blends in fine the leaves.

Well i found some 3d camo at a local store for $80. It has a boonie, jacket and pants. Here are a few pics of the jacket. The rest is under it but the same stuff.
