UPDATE: http://trigpaintball...com/index.c.cgi?

I work so a company that has nothing to do with paintball but have a few people there that love to play. We were having lunch recently and we starting to talk about paintball.

The owner of the company says to me “You know you guys are more than welcome to use the field out back to play.”

So I ask “How much land is back there? Is there enough?” I asked because I haven’t been back there, ever.

He says “Well there is just about 19 acres…..all paid for…..we’ve owned it for the last 80 years or so. We own it just never had a real use for it.”

Immediately go back there and check it out. Sure enough there is a ton of land that hasn’t been used other than some local kids back there with the ATVs. There are no what conversation classifies as “wet lands” that cannot be messed with. There is a paved parking lot leading to the company and the field is located in the back with tons of space for parking.

The space is located in Taunton, Massachusetts. The zip code is 02780 on the North Dighton-Taunton line.

I took some photos of the field that can be seen here: http://www.immortalspaintball.com/coppermi...ls.php?album=43

I’d need to arrange the open space with recball-type bunkers. Most of the land is open space, sadly hardly any is wooded. Luckily, we have tons of pallets, drums, huge drum-tanks, etc… that can be placed out there before we play.

I am trying to judge if there is any interest in playing at a place like this? Arrange some sort of get together (NO CHARGE TO PLAY) but I need to see how many player are in the area that would be interested to come on down and try it out.

I have approval to get a few scuba tanks so we would have some compressed air for fills but right now have no way of getting CO2 fills.

So, any interest from anyone that may be local in the area?

Dang, NH would be a hike for you. Appreciate the response though. Thanks! The drive down wouldn't be bad but a drive back after a day of paintball would be  .

Hey Trigga, I'm from Dighton and I have friends in Berkley and Darthmouth who play. I'll pass this info along to them.

Woot! lol then im down. And its actually not that big a deal, I'm used to driving a lot. I used to go to school in fitchburg, so i had friends in Taunton. Plus my new home field is in bridgewater. I just feel bad making my dad drive me there and back in a day.

Cool, thanks for all the responses.

Just curious, anyone bringing their own CO2? And how many out there would need HPA fills? Looks like I'll have about 3 or 4 scuba tanks.

I'll also be trying to set up a date soon. I will probably try to focus on a Saturday morning into the afternoon or until the sun goes down. It is going to be hard trying to get everyone together but I'll do my best.

If anyone needs to contact me directly for more information you can email me at trigganometry@gmail.com or through our team's website.

So far I have many people interested and a few teams that are looking forward to attend. Now getting everyone there at the same time will be challenge but I'll do the best I can.

I am going to go out in the field this Friday (during work :ghillie: ) and try and map out where I want to put stuff down for the bunkers. I am thinking that I want to first try one field with bunkers that may be pallets, drums, huge "steel" industrial cans, etc... Maybe set up a big layout and try it out. From there I can tweak it to suit what works and trash what doesn't.

Thinking even of setting up a "snake" out of some of the items.

If anyone wants to email me to directly get in contact with me, feel free to at trigganometry@gmail.com or PM or post here or visit our team link and post up in the forum.

I am at a loss as to if I should set up a temp forum on my own (one of those free ones) so that everyone has a place to visit on-line to check the status and all that. Not sure at this point  Any suggestions would be great.

BTW - I drive into Taunton from Acushnet, MA

At the outlaw field i usually play at we use pallets for speedball set ups. Can make the field in under 20 min and can have it taken down in under 10 min. It's great. Only problem is all the holes in the pallets allow paint thru if you fire enough, ie any electro nowadays.

You can use the thread here if you don't want to make a forum for this. I'll try to keep the thread cleaned up. A few smaller teams use this forum as their team forum. Feel free to yourself.
