hi new here, I have a 98 custom with the flatline..it seems to pop lots of balls, is there a secret to dialing it in? I put the stock barrel back on and no more popping. Sorry if this is a repoted question.

Chrono to 280 fps or less, try different paint, reduce rate of fire. The flatline has a curved and textured finish inside the barrel which puts the back spin on the ball and extends flight of the paintball. This finish is prone to shredding paintballs, especially if marker is chronographed higher than 280 fps or shooting rapidly.

I have found that my 98 with Flatline barrel actually like 265 fps the best.
That is where I got the best most consistant performance.

that was also what we used to recomend on the original A5 owners group. It works best then. Any higher and you can shred paint, and WILL get more wingers. 265 fps gives you a nice flat shot with good control, or as good as one can get with it i should say.
