Holy old thread, Batman!!

I've had one for about 2 years with a slide check and it's never failed me. Just kept the slide clean and lubed and no problems whatsoever.

I ended up taking the slide check off my remote because the o-ring blew after the first couple of times I used it. Another guy I play with had to due the same. Other than that I wouldnt play without the remote anymore.

This is a great product. I got the thicker hose and no slide check. If you follow the directions that come with the remote then you don't need one. People complain about getting it hung up in the woods. I have been through 4 hours of thorns, vines, bushes and trees and no hang ups. It does twist itself up a bit though.
