All those camos have are good, but what about the SO digital, it costs 3 times less, and is just as good.

Now... If I can only find a course that has only those couches for my worthless ACU digis... Eventually, I want to upgrade to the MARPAT, but thats some time off in the future, for when I have the money to do so.

I am looking forward to the next series of tests Ring.

Anyone seen the new Navy digi? While its blue...I am curious as to how it would look in the forest??? I know its not intended for "combat" but still wonder what it looks like out in the forest.

I have ACU and Multicam. ACU was pretty bright so I dyed my ACU with a combination of green, brown and black...it looks much better now. I still prefer the Multicam...it seems to work well here in Illinois.

Great picture tests. Always interesting to see.

I'd like to see how the Spec Ops Digi or the old style Woodland would match up to that.......

This really makes me worry about the effectiveness of my ACU's lol.

Might have to pick up some Marpat BDU's at my local surplus.

Nice test. I am rather fond of German flecktarn. I was laying completely still in tall brush, and an opposing player 10 feet away behind me told me that he wasn't actually sure if a person was there. Sadly I didn't hear him coming due to his own proficiency at movement. (This guy won the game for his team, it was 5 v 5, and he got 5 kills.)

Nice post Ring.

Interesting. The ACU is ineffective camouflage in that environment, which is fairly similar to my usual haunts. I wonder if there are any pictures of the pattern, where it works.

Thanks.

 :dodgy: YES!

I've been waiting for that moment since I first saw that picture, shade, that was classic

And some of you may be interested to check this out, it compares multicam and woodland and shows multicam in extremely varied terrain:

Had to add the pic when he said wanted to see places were acu's are useful  . I currently use specops digi and it works very well although I will probably be upgrading to multicam when I get the funds.

i think it points out how bad the ACU blows...

Not in the desert and urban environments! I believe ACU works tremendously well in Iraq.
