will the X7 cyclone fit on the 98 custom?

Jus to elaborate on what fliegendaffe said, the X7 Hopper will work on a 98 Cyclone, but not the X7's Cyclone.

Unless you take the internals out and put them in a 98 Cyclone but you would not be albe to mount the X-7 Cyclone on the 98 because it is set up like the A5 Cyclone in that it is mounted directed the body of the marker with a bolt that passes through the frame.

ok how about if I changed the part that screws on the 98 cyclone body (which mounts it to the gun) and stuck it on the x7 cyclone?

the part that attaches to the 98c itself, you can put the x7 hopper on that no problem

but you cannot use the x7 cyclone base on the 98c
