I just mounted ( i think 40mm Computer fan ) on my old JT mask in the middle under the vises or there are 20mm fans you can buy em cheap on ebay but look at the DB's. lets say your computer tower is beside you and you put a 20 db fan your probly wont hear it but the fan you for your mask is even closer to your ears. probable when it running your loos your hearing untell you tern it off. I put a switch in and used a 9v battery snap but on ebay you can get a battery box that you can mount on your mask. some guy is selling a fan mask kit on ebay too in the paintball section some were lol and i think it was reasonable pries too.

Thanks for the info, I have no problem wiring one up myself and would like a switch for sure. Do you set them to blow in or pull air out?

Thanks again man, I really need to start using ebay..lol Will have to read up on them after work today and see what would work best for my mask. Did you mount the battery pack to the mask also or run it down to your upper body? Have any pics..

I just used a battery snap http://www.ebay.com/...=item1e6441136a and it gets raped around the left strap and i driled a hole in the viser right side for a switch. I did loss the middle pag for the visor had to be cut off. It turned out that the 40mm fan fit under the viser and i used to bolts throw the top. It once was attached better but it came apart and i haven't used it since. I would get a pic of it but my friend still has it. Im planing on buying the JT flex 8 full head cover camo soon the i can mount it anywhere on it. I think this is my mask http://www.paintball...rcer-review.htm but i painted it, added a camo mesh, tock off the white things. You could have a wire run down to a pocket on a vest but you might for get its there and you rip it out. When i do it agen i will use a proper battery box mounted on the mask probably on the left since im right handed im more likely to pop out the right side of a bunker. you might be albe to get a 40mm fan from a computer store for free or cheap i wouldn't pay more then $5 for one. 20mm are not used in computer's so probly on ebay for thows. maby nexed time ill put a variable speed switch in that be cool.

After checking into them more I'm thinking two 20mm would be best for my sly. The sly masks have no viser and the top vents are small so not sure one 40mm would sit nice. I also think running down to a pocket would be better then having a battery pack mounted on the straps just for safety of long game i feel it would be bothering. I would do some deans connectors or maybe some other types so when pulling off the mask I could easily disconnect the wires. Also this way I could run bigger batts if needed being in a pocket on vest or change out in the field if need be. Also having switch at battery in pocket would make it nice and easy to operate.
Just thoughts right now as I need to see what I can find local and build a test fan system, then building/upgrading from there.
