Here be my idea. So I saw this awhile back on youtube. The tornado grenade for airsoft. But if we could figure out away to use the 43 cal paint instead of the 6mm bb. I know they make 6mm paint bb's but I hear they don't break very well. What do you guys think? I think it would decimate people in bunkers or behind cover and they would be reusable unlike the current type of grenades.

Great vid of the Tornado here. Towards the end it show the internal workings of the system.

reminds my of a Q loader pod gone wild! But it has the same problems being adapted to paintball as many previous concepts. 1, the grenade will easily weigh enough to knock off a mask. 2, because the shots are not aimed it is blind firing. A practice that is against the rules of most all fields. 3, the last point is that it would fire multiple balls with a single trigger/pin pull, also against the rules of most fields. I hate bladder grenades but we're stuck with them as the only safe, rule compliant option.

southeast brigade patches coming soon! Archanglmikel's feedback

fields could make an exception that getting hit by this grenade marks you out even though theres no paint. And bladder grenades would still be heavy enough to knock a mask off. I think its an awesome idea. I dont know how easy it would be to modify it for paintballs, but you could contact the company and see if theyre interested. Or you could just use a Q-pod lol. The only problem with the paint would be that it probably wouldn't break on you. if you just used pressurized paint it could probably work. Rechargeable with a 12 gram CO2.

Haha my friend had the idea of tying some of those mini-parachutes to a bladder grenade and letting it spin/throw paint while hanging above enemies :P

Yeah I was also thinking about a paint stream. It would be way more affective then the current models and more reliable. I'm sure that you could put a reservoir in the grenade to hold enough paint plus a propellent charge. Archanglmikel most of those rules usually apply to makers and point and shoot projectiles. I've brought the idea up with my local field and they said they see nothing wrong by using it. Most things the fields I play at won't allow are open flames, pyro, concussive or toxic based grenades.

Hmm, this prospect looks very awesome, I am excited, who's gonna contact the manufacturer!?, wait maybe we all should? We as paint ballers want a quality grenade such as this!!!

I tried to design one of these but never built a prototype. I think this particular method, if it worked, would be really cool.

Or we could just pressure MO and Dazl to avoid copywright infringement and make us something similar lol.

Those grenades are pretty cool, not sure how they would translate over to paintball though. I mean, they would have to be significantly bigger to fit in the smaller caliber paintballs. It would be awesome if someday we could get a good paintball though. But I don't worry to much, I'd only use em twice a year anyways.

I do think the jet spray would work better then trying to figure out how to use paintballs. But I'm worried that you would get a mist instead of a stream. But if somebody would be able to seal the inside from leaking and have a low enough pressure to avoid misting I think it could work.

I would think that the paint would be too thick to mist unless you really forced it. Nice link! After reading that it definitely seems like it would be possible to replace the BBs with paint. There might be other modifications necessary, but i could happen.

I sent the guy an e-mail about it. Ill see what he says.
