Possible new car :D but I dunno what to choose

It sounds very very likely that I'll be getting a new car soon. My old Acura is getting pretty long in tooth, and its going to cost a bundle to fix.
07 Honda Civic Coupe
- 5 speed manual transmission
- fully loaded (no navi)
- looks pretty sleek
- is a coupe
- Interior is a little plain and is cloth
- feels slow (huge minus)
- Looks sporty and is a coupe
- leather interior
- premium model
- more "exclusive?" then a Civic
- pretty quick
- Is two years old already, and 50,000 miles
- the dashboard looks a tad dated
- decent gas mileage
- I dont know how well the automatic transmissions hold up
07 Mazda 3
- I love the interior, and the seats are great
- feels noticeably faster then the Civic
- cheaper then the rest
- the exterior styling is a little pedestrian IMO
- gas mileage is nearly 10mpg less
- resale might not be as good later on
- only comes in an automatic
I dunno, the Civic gets better gas mileage and has a manual tranny but is slower, the RSX is sexy but older, The Mazda is faster and I like the interior but the mileage isnt that great.
BUT, I got to test drive the Mazdaspeed 3... Omfg. That thing is a monster , its the turbocharged model with a six speed manual and man its a beast. Its sensible since its a hatchback and lots of luggage space, and its very very fast. I dont think I could talk my way into getting it though, its about 3-4 g's more then the Civic, and insurance would be higher. Im sure Im not gonna get that, but if I cant Im not sure what to go for. I'd be incredibly greatful for anything really, Ive been driving around a wrecked car for a few months now and its a pain .
Btw I havent really been around here in ages, but its good to come back to visit. I wanna get back into the sport

If you buy a '07 Civic Coupe, you're getting a nice, efficient, well-built car that will do good by you for a good 20 years. Hell, you could probably use it as a daily driver for 30 years.
EDIT: And good choice about not getting American cars. American cars = fail.
You might also want to look at some of the new VW City Golf and City Jetta. They're dirt cheap, quick, good-looking and indestructible.

If you want a car that is nice, you can find one in all of those brands, but if you want to keep the american economy stable, and regain the strength of our dollar, so that the canadians dollar isnt worth more than ours, i would sugesst buying an american car. I bet you money, that you havent gone to any car dealerships recently to test drive, or comparison shop any cars. The american cars that are coming out now adays are spectacular, compared to previous years. Your Views are most likely, a "pretty picture" that you saw online.
But, I could be wrong.
I would recommend that you go shop around town, and test drive cars, and form your own opinion, a non biased one, lol..
