Okay, I have an old school TL+ that I have some upgrades on. I think that I would like to buy either a E-mr1 or mr2. I have heard that the mr3 is not really as fast and not worth the extra $. Right now, I have a q-loader, JCS folding combat stock RVA, and a CP classic 16" barrel. Which mr would be the fastest and still let me carry over all of my upgrades? Thanks

MR2 all the way.

I have an MR2 and not a single problem with it. Have a Q-Loader with the SP8 mod. Mounts right to the side. Red dot scope on the handle. Probably get a riser for it. MR2 and MR3 run about the same speed. Full auto approx 13-15 bps and up to 25 or so if you can walk your fingers that fast. And it comes stock with an Anti-Chop bolt.

I love my MR2. I have a 14" J&J ceramic barrel on it and it works great.

Actually Ive heard the E-MR1 is better than the MR2. I think Kingman is even replacing the MR2. Kind makes sense or why else would they upgrade the MR1 with and E Grip? Anyways you won't have the barrel adapting problem cause by the shroud either.

If Im wrong about the E-MR1 please correct me, its just what Ive heard.

I have an E-MR1. Perfectly satisfactory marker. It does not have the anti-chop bolt that the MR2 has but otherwise it is the same feel and operation with only a different body styling.

What is the connection type of your folding stock? If it connects to the trigger frame the MR series does not have the offset screw holes like the older markers did. I think everything else should fit fine with a little bit of tweaking. Getting the right q-loader adapter for example.

I don't know much about the E-MR1. I was told by a local shop the MR2 and the MR3 will be discontinued and Kingman will be comming out with another marker. But I don't know. They push Tipmann like it was a godsend The shroud on the 2 and 3 does make it difficult to upgrade barrels. But anyway back to the subject at hand.

The MR series of markers make it diffcult to have a Q-Loader and a folding stock. The foregrip on the MR are too big for the mounting straps that come sstock on the Q-Loader. Will not work without mod. The SP8 mod works well. See pic of my marker. The only problem is, you will not be able to fold your stock. There are several different things you can do to make it work. You will just have t play with it.

I've read, like on pbreview, that the emr-1 is really loud. From the people that have one, is this compared to other blow-backs? I don't care that much, but no oene said that the mr-2 was loud.

It is as loud as any other spyder. They are all similarly scaled in loudness. Since you are running a TL now I don't think you will notice any difference.

If you look at the PBreview page I have posted a quite lengthy review of the marker on the site. I am the same sup909.

I think this link will get you right to it.

mr2: not as accurate, i have both and mr1 is more accurate
mr2: IS REALLY HEAVY! the u add tank and full hopper and god knows what happens
mr1: SNIPER ACCURATE
mr1: easier to do mainteinance
both: same speed limit
both: are really loud
I have both and use both but my pick is the MR1, it is cheaper and better, I think you should get it before they realize what it really is and raise the price 200+

I have an MR2 and i love it. I get 1500+ shots out of a 20oz. CO2 tank. And i really dont think that it is that heavy( i do recomend getting a sling for it though)
But, if i were you, i would wait till March first when Kingman releses the MR2 w/eyes and get that.

Thanks for eveything guys. I ended up with the Emr-1, which arrived yesterday. Between work and school, I have been slowly upping it. I got it from Action Village and got a free set of Dye sticky grips. The q-loader took me about 40 min. to get on there, and I still haven't put any paint through it. Compared to my old mech though...... man that e-trigger feels fast. I am going to put a review up when I have it completely tricked.

Thanks

I have a mr1 that i am getting a rocking trigger and eggy for. In my oppinion the mr1 is your best bet it is easy to change the grips (unlike the other mr series markers) you can put in an acs bolt and change a barrel without worrying about the shroud and basicaly build an mr2 for less than an mr2
