yeah i belive it can be done. You will need a firestorm crank, sold by specops. thats all I can tell u cause im not a hammer. But a firestorm crank is going to b a nessesity

The 98's would work. I believe Iron Man has used a setup with 98's...if I'm not mistaken anyway. I would definitely recommend getting yourself the cyclone feed upgrades for the 98's and you'll definitely need two firestorm cranks. You'll also need a few other things like tools, steel/aluminum, miscellaneous nuts and bolts and a few other things.

the main thing you'll need is patience.

get 2 firstorm cranks for 98c, get some threaded rod from lowes or hoem depot (i think it was 3/32?) ask custom cowboy about that one. and for ease of use, get 2 sets of rifle scope holders. put the bottom half of each on top of the 98s, get some STRONG metal and drill holes on the edges where the scope's screws would go through, and you have the top brackets. then under the handles, where the asa-s would be, put another plate of strong metal and drill holes. once all the brackets are tight, get the last piece of metal and connect it to the 2 custom brackets you just made. the plates should form an H with this last piece being in the middle of the H. finally you get to rig both asa's fromt he 98's to feed into one asa, or just plug them into their own air tanks. i would definitely suggest cyclones for this. also invest in a good comfortable sling system cause this thing will be heavy... but ooh how the weak will run!!

talk to doc92, also , why not use 10-32 threaded rods and nuts to join them together, using the same mounting holes as the reciever holes? essentially, what one could do is to simply make longer reciever bolts, no?

most advice i can offer is firestorm cranks, cyclone hoppers, and response triggers, that way, you can still chuck paint out in the rain

Need 2 cranks. Each crank activates one 98. FC102 cranks work fine but you may have to trim the trigger tab a tiny bit. Takes like five seconds and a sharp object. Also, about the hoppers, I can't imagine how many batteries I would have gone through if A5s didn't have cyclones. So if you plan on using it for a while, the cyclone upgrades are a must.

The DIY Hammer link in my sig has the thread measurements for the cranks.
And Doc, I need to order two A5 cranks from you. Do I still need to fill out the entire form for cranks only?

the 98c cranks are hard to come by. it took me over a year to get mine. i currently use the egg 2 which doesn't hold a lot but gets the job done. also, i believe the rod size is wrong. i'll check what i'm using once i get the chance tonight or tomorrow.

I think DOC was implying that you may be able to use a crank that was not originally designed for the 98, but will still work. I think the FC-102 cranks are actually the A-5 single trigger cranks, which DOC sells, or can be bought from tippmannparts.com
