Well if you're going to put the whole mask on to your pb mask, then definitely consider the fiberglass tape. It will help you loads in blending the lines of the two masks together and make it seem like it was originally intended to be that way.

I am 90% finished with this project minus a Multicam paint job. It turned out pretty amazing. I will post a bunch of pictures within 24 hours.
I ended up using the double respirator. I blocked off the right side with a 1 1/4 plug from home depot. Then I used epoxy to put it all together with a bolt going through the mask to the respirator to hold it. I won't have the bolt on the final project because I don't want it to break my teeth if I do a face plant.
I also decided to use vinyl paint from the auto parts store to avoid cracking.
After it was epoxyed I took my dremil to it and ground down the edges of the respirator where it met the mask and removed the lip. I was going for a smooth transition. because the mask is hard plastic it did not flex much and break the epoxy accept for the bottom where I just applied some gorilla glue. I am thinking gorilla glue is the way to go from the start.
I promise to post pictures soon.

Sounds pretty sweet. Can't wait to see the pics. The Multicam paint job is probably gonna make it look extra awesome.

Interesting. I might have to try this with my old Shield. Definitely adds a bit of an intimidation factor, and that mask is already huge :D
