my current gun is a 98c with r/t, but im thing about buying a cheap paintball gun to use for a sniper

that doesnt make sense...unless by cheap you mean like a pump [generally cheaper in price but still great quality]

but i have a 98 and i can change it on the spot to whatever position i need to play [longer barrel for sniper, removable stock, electronic hopper for heavy rifleman...i find it cheaper than getting a whole nother gun [unless of course you are talking about a pump for the skills]

I think I'm down to 8 personal ones.

No matter how hard I try to get rid of Tippmann's they always seem to show up when I get rid of my last one. Man I hate them.

try and find an old tippmann 68 [pump classic!] it would greatly improve your sniper game by making you think about the shots before you take them...PSP!PSP!PSP! or if you want a more modern pump the c3 by tippmann is cool too...i say pump because a true sniper has patience...and can wait for his/her shot [there are girl snipers too...]

Just added an Ion to the collection with a Viewloader Eyeforce loader and Custom Products 14" barrel. Tried her out at Mortar Wars II and it's alot of fun. I like the rebound function and being able rip paint downrange pretty quick. Planning on turning it into the Q-bow unless I have too much fun in the upcoming Rookie Speedball Tourney (oh why not try it!).

Man you guys are lucky to have so many nice guns. I only have a 98c. I wish I had an A5, but it sucks being poor. Darn near impossible to get a job when you're 14.

Im a sorta middle front player but i can play almost every position on the field equally, I'm a great sniper im quiet, I'm a fast runner, I am usually an open looker, I have good reflexes, I'm an all around player.
I'll be getting a Spyder E-MR1 Military Kit for christmas, plus some extra stuff like pods and pod packs ect.

Amm...
Marq, Fusion, Diadem, Promaster, A5, 98C, 2 Tigersharks, Spyder Classic, Splatmaster...
So 10 total.

I mainly used the A5, then I got the Fusion and started using it (My A5 hasn't seen action in at least a year...I might take it out this Saturday).
I just picked up my Marq and have only gotten to play a couple games with it, but it's my new main gun. Light, Quiet, Efficient, and sexy as hell.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Upgraded Spyder Imagine (Original marker, now a loaner)
Ion (Freak barrel, no rise feedneck, QEV, drop forward, Empire B ) Main speedball/woodsball marker
Trilogy Tactcal autococker (Was going to turn into a pump, now keeping stock for the wife... she's really scarry accurate with it...)
VSC Phantom (Ghost ring & some no-name stock) Mostly for speedball! Modifided stock class rocks! (and cocks) I think everyone should try pump vs semis in speedball. (Then again, I may not be entirely sane...) :)
TAC8 Pistol This is almost as much fun as playing with the Phantom (Sometimes I use the two in combination). Need another mag (to make 3) and probably quick CO2 changers to make this a viable primary, but has been alot of fun so far.

Used to own a decked out A-5, but I sold it when I came to the realization that I would keep buying parts for it & it would never match my Ion in performance, so I sold it. Sometimes I wish I hadn't, but realisticaly, I had stopped using it, and it helped me buy my Phantom, so it's all good.
