It looks pretty good to me, but I was wondering... Why doesn't it have a visor?

It comes in box without the visor or chin straps on-- you put them on if you want or not.

The grill is well worth the money. Easy goggle remover like vforce profiler. Foam comes out (neato). Chin straps come out. Though Swede Johanson is right.. you need to wear a hat or something to cover the top of your head cause it still hangs low even with a visor.

Got the reverse green here locally and its probably the single best paintball purchase I have made in the last year. I used JT's for years, but was severely disappointed in the Flex 8's and tried the V-Force Grills when they came out. Love them, very comfortable and love being able to replace the foam.

Sigs aren't actually allowed on the Special Ops Forum, so I don't have one.

The mask in the picture is actually a reverse green. You expect the tan part to be green but it aint.

i got a grill to replace my jt x-fire mask.

man this mask is awesome, i have yet to play a game in it yet, but i have practiced, and done some exercises in it to test its anti-fogging ability. i worked up a good sweat, and not a single bit of fogging, these things are absolutely amazing. i managed to get the reverse green, which look absolutely stunning, they kind of remind me of master chief's helmet from halo 2.

i don't know about the bounceability of them, but from what ive heard, they won't dissapoint.

these things are a definate buy if you have the money, i would choose these over any mask on the market right now.

Anyone with glasses use it? Because I might end up getting something like this, but I need to make sure my glasses will fit nicely under it.

So you want to know why it's called an A5?

If I could assemble a new regulator for a paintball gun, I could build a liver. How hard could it be?

I'll bet you $10 the above post is telling you to buy an automag.

While I don't wear my glasses when I play, I did try on a set of V-Force Grills in the store while wearing my glasses with no discomfort.

How is the grill when using a sight or scope?

The mask really doesn't have much to do with that. Although if you are using a sight (say a 98C or an A5) with a stock it is nice that it can flex some, because you can press your face into the stock a little more, but either way, I recommend (with the above or similar setup) getting a sight riser or offset rail.

Hows the protection?

Buy something else if you're worried about feeling the hits. I love this mask and give it every star available to me... but it will make your mouth bleed. Good for low profile, great for visibility, awesome for getting bounces, but bad for your teeth ;)

Really, it's a great mask. But if protection is your primary concern, my experience has been that Proto is the way to go. That's just me, just my opinion, but there you have it.

9.8/10....I used it for the first time today & it was really nice. All the shots to my face just bounced off the soft rubber grill, it was great. If I could change one thing on the mask it would have to be the flat metal nameplates (just doesn't flow with the rest of the mask). This mask is well worth the price with all the new upgrades V-Force put on & I can't wait to get some new dark lenses. If you do have have a longer face this might not be the mask for you, its kinda short.

About the long face, compared to Dye I3 pros they about the same length?
If we cant do it it doesn't need to be done!
