So the other day i was usint my etek3 with my rotor mounted to a 70ci 4500 fill tank, i had bought about 2 months ago, when i noticed this huge crack in the side.... not from me droping it or anything. just from expantion and contraction. its about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide, ruffly 1/8 inch deep.
now for the fun part, i go to the website to see about a return and a replacement, well i contacted them 3 times now via phone and no responce, finaly got a email addy so i shot them one of them.....
what a pain in the kisser

Uh yeah, Don't use that. Period.

Did you leave it in the car or anything? Check the burst disk to see if it failed?

...if the tank failed, the burst disk certainly didn't LOL...even at 7500psi (the hp disk on 4500psi tanks), the tank shouldn't fail.

That tank is deceased, it will not pass hydro. Hopefully you've got some warranty service coming your way! :dodgy:

Doesn't matter, it's illegal to fill it even if it were cosmetic, there's no way to know if it went through to the sides of that crack.

...this happens to Ninja tanks from time to time.

And Ninja replaces them for free. Nothing to you.

QFT

That crack is in the protective outer shell, not in the structural carbon fiber portion.

PE should replace it for free, if not... let them know you'll be switching to Ninja because they would :gunwhore:.

Remove the reg and take the tank out back for target practice. Replace tank with a Crossfire or a Ninja.
