Hey fellas. Been in the sport for a while but am new here. Anyway, I've got a loose crew that I chum with (it's not a formal team yet, just a bunch of guys in the area that hang out and play paintball together) and we are finishing up our home base. Yes, a base. Not a fort. Anyway, we've put the word out that we intend to defend our field/base from all comers on the 26th (there are some other local groups that are attending) and I figured I might as well post it here, too.

If there is anyone interested, let me know and I can fill you in with more details. Until then, here is what I can tell you:

1. We have about 16-24 guys that will be defending
2. Our base is on elevated ground and the defenders inside the base will be heavily dug-in
3. The entire field is about four acres or so (the base being on the highest point)
4. The game will be a "medic" game of some type or other, with recycles
5. The battle will end with either our flag being taken from the center of the base or the two hour time limit being up
6. The field is in Northeast CT with easy access from Routes 44, 101, and 6 from east to west and I-395 from north to south
7. This will be an outlaw game with some rules for safety and such, but will be a good chance to meet and greet players from this neck of the woods (and make new contacts/recruit new players)

Looks like we're pulling people in from CT, MA, and RI.

Playing field is almost complete, and will encompass six acres.

Well, it was a good day. We had 36 people show up and the home base kicked serious tail.

I'll post again when we have another game, but with the overwhelming response here I don't know if we could handle everybody.
