They "waste" their money for realistic values.

It may seem like a waist to you, but they gain one step closer to the real thing.

Hey guys, I just put a UL Frame on a PMR and there is a TON of side to side motion in the trigger. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? And yes I know a PMR isn't technically High end, but the UL frame is on the Dye series of markers so I figured this would be a good place to ask.

Not too sure. You could always go around and try and find some plastic washers to fit inbetween the trigger and frame. Not so sure on how to fix that one.

^^Wow, I can't believe I didn't think about that. I'm not gonna take my frame apart tonight, but I'll try that tomorrow and post back in here so you guys know if it worked.

Anyone ever hear of the trigger on a UL frame being like this?

I have on a few.

If all else fails and you have money to burn, try and nab a CP trigger. Heard those are really good, but I also recommend a FBM Trigger (if there's any for UL frames). I love mine.

I'm gonna take the trigger out tomorrow and put a shim or two in there to see if it tightens it up. I just have to find the right size washer.

Make sure you don't add to many or you might mess up your trigger movement.

I had to do that with my cocker frame before I sold it, such a pain when you don't have any shims around.

Have you checked if your trigger pin was in correctly?

I can't wait, I'm going to get my toolbox right now. I'll let you know in a few....

So the trigger pin is actually smaller than the hole that it goes it. Making the trigger move side to side. So I wrapped it in teflon tape and screwed it back it, MAGIC, no more side to side wobble! :(

Ok now a curiousity question. I just noticed a small hole on the back of my PMR. The the right and slightly below the backcap, and it has an allen key head inside. Any clue what that is?

I thought we were against the whole "paintball as war game" thing. You know, the reason many people choose the term marker over gun?

it seems like a "waist" to me.

one step closer to the real thing.... but unfortunately for them, the real thing is the last thing they really want. The real thing sucks. It's not fun... it's downright hell. They want to play soldier for 5 minutes out of the day... which is okay, i guess... but if anyone thinks that it's anything close to the "real thing", then they're kind of an idiot.

...the term "marker" is the original name for them... because they were made to mark trees and cattle. "gun" wasn't used until paintball was formalized... and even then, it's technically incorrect, and is just slang.

Blackcell, if the PMR is anything like my DM4, then that's a flow plug. It regulates the airflow through the body.
