Blah useless... The extra 2 inches or three you get from tips isnt plenty and as indicated by EVERY RECON ARTICLE; dont make more accurate, and definetly not more silent

Maybe useless for you, but some hardcore milsim players just get them because it adds to their...milsim-ness.

Dammit. I was gonna make a tacticool joke :(

IDK, that Tornado tip looks cool. Useless yes, but at least I'll look good right?

I agree but do you remember that Spec Ops add a couple years ago that went something like: Get mods that make sense...

Now an A5 with all of the knick knack barrel upgrades, air system mods and mil-sim stocks... those are cool... Or Warwithc's TM-15 Box mod... thats cool and hardcore, and Im not just saying that cuz Im gonna get a TM-15 either...

Basically die hards should look elsewhere for cool mods... start with stocks, the grips, then scopes, then barrels, then lasers/flashlights... then cosmetics...

The tips are for looks. Someone shooting an x7 or other milsim gun can now get the look they want in a quality barrel. You can get multiple barrels and make a kit out of it. The accuracy comes from paint to bore match and the precision machining quality.

Seriously? A barrel is one of the first things that should get replaced. A stock and a scope provide little to no functional benefit. That mod makes more sense than lasers and flashlight.

I believe he was talking about the tips. Not the actual barrel.

I would personally never rock one but they look nice as sex. I think the barracuda or tornado might even look kinda cool on a smaller, sleek electro. It would for sure be different.

Some look OK, some not so much.

I'll pass though; I have barrels I like and these wouldn't look good on my markers.

Good for anyone who wants that look and still get performance from the CP barrel instead of buying one of those crap barrels for appearances alone.

Find a qualified machinst and either A) have him make you an adaptor...or B ) have the machinist turn down the old threads, and match the ICD threads

I dont thik anything was actually said that the tips made your gun quieter or more accurate. The tips are to make your gun/barrel different from everyone elses. Just like the mods you throw on your gun, IE: stocks, grips, mags, foregrips...you get the idea. Basically everyone can get a st!ffi, or J&J and look the same, but what if you had that tornado tip , then your barrel stands out from the crowd. And if I recall, didn't spec ops have a C-series with different tips as well? Did they add performance? NO! They were for looks. Thats all tips are for.

And in my opinion those tips look awesome and CP is a great company that makes awesome barrels So I may be looking into these in the future.

That is entirely too much work. I'm gona save up $250 for the BOA barrel I have found somewhere online that is threaded for ICD. :P:D Imagine a super quiet alley cat...orgasmic.
