Picture if you will a game of paintball where nothing seems right. Things that are intuitive to what you believe should be right simply is not. Your next stop, the old school paintball zone. *da DA DAAAA*

Halloween leftover, sorry.

Tyger talks about one of the old school rules of paintball that is HAPPILY left in the past about headshots. In all seriousness, this rule was in place for years when I started playing, and I never could quite believe it.

Oh yeah...I only remember one field in our area with the head-shot rule. It seemed weird at the time & it seems weirder now. And they went out of business in '89. Is there a connection? Ha!

...and I shoot lefty, so my scar is on the other hand. ;)

Should I feel special that my field ends the day with headshot ONLY games?

Sign of change I suppose...

Scar on my finger? Crap...I need to buy one of those and...self mutilation is bad kids! (but nearly worth it in this case)

What is the story behind the scar on the index finger?
"why does that bush have eyes?"

I agree with the use of the headshot marker hits don't count rule in a certain situation:

In 'punter' games where headshots are allowed but do not count to encourage the players to take part and not blind fire etc - unlike the early days when headshots were discouraged due to safety as Tyger has referred to in the video when goggles were basic. Provided the marshalls keep the game flow going. If 'walkons' / 'own gunners' play against first timer 'punters' they should play to the rules of the punter game.

In 'proper' games with walkons / own gunners / regulars we should be playing so that everything counts.
