I have a 98C with a SP 14" barrel, most people dont like Tippmanns because they are "inaccurate" or "inconsistent", I love my 98! Yea, if you compare it to a high end gun, OF COURSE ITS CRAP! But the 98 is a GREAT sniper marker!

I want to get a nicer barrel for my A5 and start using that a lot more too, but for the moment my Tippmann is the rugged and accurate combo that I LOVE! I cant shoot 30 bps, I dont have any trigger mods, but when that game starts; I can shoot just as well as a $400.00 gun!!

My vote, (if you couldn't tell :) ) is for the Tippmann 98C!!!! :)

It it's inaccurate and inconsistent how is it a great "sniper" marker? Accuracy is one of the things "snipers" need most.

I didn't say that my marker was inconsistent or inaccurate, i was saying thats what other people say, my gun is acctualy really consistent and very accurate

My trusty old SL-68 II is the one I turn to when everything else fails. It has never given me an ounce of trouble in all of the years I've played with it and with my minor modifications it is just about perfect. I use it every game I attend.

when i snipe i use an a5 with a dogleg stock and freak barrell kit.
i know tippmanns are as loud as they come but i prefer to use a gun that i know is accurate rather than one that is quiet.

Due to my financial state, and my need to different, I stay with low-end markers. My favorite gun as of now is a spyder MR-1, it has yet to fail me.

I am all for pumps! less ammo (for stick feeds and pocket hoppers) forces you to take more conservative shots (usually means they would be more accurate). My first pump was my phantom, then I got an old cocker and slapped a kit on it. But now I am building my very own one of a kind cocker pump from the Jeff orr series body line.

i use a SP1 and i put the longbow sniper kit on it for a lower profile and more compact marker. it serves me well but an extra mag would really help out. i dont need ot shoot faster than 11bps. i really dont shoot faster than 1bps. lol and a case of 1000 lasts me a season

SP-1! The best paintball marker that I've ever owned! It never breaks paint. It shoots very quiet. It has all the firing modes I need to play in all situations. It is very efficient on air. Runs on BOTH HPA and Co2. Yeah, it's just a great marker! I love my SP-1! (Almost as much as I love The Bloody Beetroots) :)

I use an Autococker and SP1, my SP1 is my main marker, I use the Autococker when I just want too I guess... I love the SP1, nothing will ever make me change my mind about it, best paintball gun I've ever owned.
