Hmm... I'm tempted to say "paintballer." Just like everyone else :D.

Player.
This is my sig. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My sig is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My sig, without me, is useless. Without my sig, I am useless. I must type my sig true. I must spell better than my enemy who is trying to judge me. I must type before he ridicules me. I WILL... My sig and I know that what counts in this forum is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the splatter we make. We know that it is the hits that count. WE WILL HIT... Before the Admins, I swear this creed. My sig and myself are the defenders of my forum. We are the masters of our enemy. WE ARE THE SAVIORS OF MY PROFILE. - Tippmann Owner #pi

Capable. Well rounded. Useful in a pinch. Ready to lead a squad... The list goes on, but the best one to carry as a label is Paintballer.

It conceals all that you know and makes you more versatile.

Now go keep improving on your skills. ;)

yeah thats what i was trying to point out...its really dumb to do the whole position thing...they really dont mean anything... I play X-ball...there are three psitions on the feild front, mid, and back. The Font guy is in the front basically spending the whole game on his belly getting shot at. the mid guy hangs out in a middle of the feild and trys to take the heat off the front guy. and the back guy hangs out in the back keeping the opposing teams' heads down.

I was really just poking fun at the whole thing........I am not a ubernube

What i was trying to say is that on the woodsball feild people are less talented and can identify with one "position" or the other. however an X-ball player has to be good at everything to be able to survive on the feild for more than 30 seconds.

I'm resisting the temptation to flame you hardcore, although you kinda deserve it. Why do you say Woodsballers are less talented? That's moronic stereotyping at best. Your argument has no weight to it whatsoever, as you list the three positions for X-Ball (Front, Mid, and Back) which require different gear loads and mind sets, then say X-Ballers have to be good at everything. The purpose of different positions in both variations of the general heading of paintball are the same- a light, fast guy to draw fire and run around (Dagger of Front), a middle ground guy who can cover most any job (Sabre or Mid), and a guy carrying a crap-load of paint that lays it heavy to keep the enemy's head down (Broadsword/Hammer or Back).

The other positions in Woodsball (Commander and Ambush sniper) are due to the fact that Woodsball games last longer then three minutes and require communication, and the fact it's pretty hard to set an ambush in a hundred yard long open field where you can see the other end. I guess you can have a commander in X-Ball, but it's not as necessary as it is in a longer game where you can't see the rest of the field.
