Well I was bored, and I was thinking. Alot of us here play instruments, some of us are in bands and some of us are looking for bands.
So I was bored and thought I'd come up with this little index mah-doo-bob. This could help out if you want to see if there are any new/unknown bands worth seeing or that are hiring. Also if you are looking for a band, put up your application and such. Or if your just a musician and feel like a little recognition, put yourself up here. Do me a favor and copy and paste the forms and fill em out that way, makes it alot easier for em to put em up here. I put mine as an example in the players section.

And don't be afraid to discuss with our fellow musicians about their bands, styles of music, and music in general.

CLASSIFIEDS

PLAYERS

Forum Name: Ace-014 (Austin Estrada)

Instrument: Guitar, Piano, Vocals

Style of Music: Blues/Rock/Alternative/Metal

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): I do my own thing. Alot of times I'll just jam until I come up with something I like. I've recently started a solo project ( http://www.myspace.c...tlightshighcard if you wanna check it out). I've met alot of colorful people so far working with music, and I love it. Right now I break my musical time between jamming at home, recording/writing bits of songs, and being a street musician. Guitar is my strong instrument, but I'm not terrible at piano and I've recently got more into singing because according to some people, I have potential. Who'da thunk?

Forum Name: Frontier_Bill (Tom Barnick)

Instrument: Guitar (acoustic), electric bass guitar, MIDI

Style of Music: Stings - Acousti-funkal-harmony.

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): I have spent well over 600 hours recording and mastering music in a college studio. Some of my work is below.

http://www.myspace.com/laramiedeines
http://www.myspace.c...etweentwoworlds
http://www.myspace.c...soundexperience This is my personal side project. Unfortuantely, a Mac ate 4 songs, and I haven't had the time to learn FL Studio.

Forum Name: LoopyDood (Gerald Humphries)

Instrument: Guitar, (Acoustic mainly) Piano, Trombone, (Regular or Bass) Violin. (Not playing this anymore.)

Style of Music: Jazz, Metal, Classical.

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): Not looking for a band.

Forum Name: CapnStank (Graham B ).

Instrument: Trombone

Style of Music: Funk & Ska

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): In the band Stone Grove

Forum Name: RoflMyWaffles (Robert You)

Instrument: Bass Guitar, Drums

Style of Music: Metal, Rock

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): Not looking for a band.

Forum Name: Unkel Fester

Instrument: Trumpet

Style of Music: Swing and Jazz

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): Not looking for a band

Name: Fenrisulfr

Instrument: Morid sounds of death and decay (vocals) and Serpentine Scriptures (lyrics)

Style of music: Black/Deathish Metal

Other (Put what you want. Gear, experience, ect.): It's a work in progress but I recorded a few samples just to see what I sounded like from another's perspected. I've more or less refined my sound and can preform ear puncturing shrieks and low pitched growls, though my forcful medium tone is how I prefer to vocalize... but sometimes you just need to hurt people's ears.

I'm also just interested in trying to vocalize more so than I am to get infront of dozens of people. As far as I'm concerned, I don't care if we play live or not. We could just record studio albums for all I care. Hell, we don't even need to meet. All that mattters is the final product. You don't need to be together in the same room to do that.

Hmm... do you guys do gigs? You should try to get a gig at MSU in Bozeman, MT. Probably under a 4 hour drive for you... wait, just checked. I thought you were more north of central MT... nope. Thats about an 8 hour drive. Still be cool if you played here though!
