my knowaldge is thus: if you cannot watch your food being maimed and killed before processing; you don't deserve meat.<-period.
I can watch my food being put down with a piston gun to the head, I don't think I need to watch a special person try to kill an animal with a dull knife as it runs from one end of a pen to the other.

i still see no relation between a bus slaughter and peta being mad at it.
they weren't this mad when mike vick got convicted now were they?
PETA isn't mad about the bus slaughter they want the public to be inflamed about the 'story' of an animal being attacked the way people are about the victims because the attacker ate from his victims.
"Like human victims, animals in slaughterhouses experience terror when they are attacked by a knife-wielding assailant," the statement said. "We are challenging everyone who is rightly horrified by this crime to look into their hearts and consider leaving violence off their dinner plates."
Like any group of extremists they only care about their message and how best to get attention no matter who they upset or turn away because they are trying to bring on more extremists like themselves.
