I have the choice of buying a Dye Dm4 or selling my old Tippman 98 custom- The 98 has a 12' carbon fiber barrel and an E trigger. however my 98 has broken multiple times to the point where I had to actually bring it into a shop to have wires extended, new bolts put in ect.

I'm a medium level player and have gone paintballing quite a lot.

I know that this should probably go in Marker Vs Marker but I thought that people in this section of the forum might be more kind to us new fourm users. ;)

Thanks, and if it really does matter that much then could a mod move this.

Sucka you trollin'???
DM4 all day. More efficient, quieter, more consistent. You just gotta know how to Tech it.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

AS these guys have already stated the DM4 is much better. Although be aware of something. you will need HPA. You can't use CO2. And expect the marker to be A LOT different than the 98 in every single way. So just be aware of those two things.

I believe there is an echo in here. DM4, there is no question about it.

Also, before this thread gets closed I am going to buy one of these Dye's

Like new DM4, upgraded DM8 board, locking feed neck, Ultra Light Frame, CP on/off ASA. This gun rips! shoots clean everytime at about 30 BPS, no joke. I played tournaments with it all the time, very reliable gun.
$200

like new shape. cp on/off asa, clamping feedneck, predator board and samuri delrin fp trigger $30. Has top hat mod for better eff. Perfect working condition. Sorry no hopper.
$175

Which one would you guys recommend me purchasing???

Meh. I'd look at a UL PM6/PM7 for around $250.

Sorry but even a PM5 blows a DM4 away. PM5's go for around $100-$150.
