Looks nice.

Just curious, can any UL frame be used on any Matrix? I kinda want one on my DM5... Do i have to get a specific one? Or could I just steal yours? :D

I hate you, lol. :D

I've been thinking of getting one, you'll have to tell me how you like it after you play with it.

I don't think it will fit on any matrix that has a low pressure reg, since that grip extend along the whole underside. They do make different ones for different types of matrices though.

What now?

I'll be out this Saturday to play with it, but I can tell you already it is a HUGE improvement over the stock frame. The feel is SO much better and the trigger is fantastic too. Hopefully it wows me even more this weekend.

This UL is only for PMR's but you can get uls designed for other matrixes

Yea, you need the proper frame designed for the specific Matrix for it to fit properly. I'm sure there have been some years where the frame needed didn't change, but I don't know for sure if that ever did happen, and if it did, I don't know which years it would have been.

I've never actually held a PMR but I'm going to guess it feels a lot like my PM8. Which means it feels great.

Sparta: You will need to buy a specific frame for it. I cannot remember how much they are, but I know they are less than $100. I was going to get one, but I wanted a mag instead.

they are more than 100 for the dm5. all the ones i have seen have been about 250. I want one soo badly for my dm5. Ul's are the most comfortable frame i have ever held.

So, what's the advantage to the UL frame? Is it just milled more, making it lighter?

it has a different shape than most other gripframes. it has an hour glass shape. it is A LOT more comfortable than regular grip frames. Im not sure about wieht but i would guess it is lighter.

You can kinda see it in Kook's pictures, but the UL frame is narrower just behind the trigger - it curves in more there than at the bottom of the frame. You can see it pretty well on my PM8 here:

And here you can see the hourglass shape from behind:

That's what makes the UL so comfy :o.
