Rofl.

Also, technically it should be 'which do you like best', because there are more than two choices. :D

Pump for sure though. We get all the fun toys. My fastest paint slinger is my Pro-Carbine. :dodgy: I can get it up to 7 or 8 bps though.

Depends on the markers themselves, not necessarily how they operate. My Tac-One with a Classic Valve (just installed) is probably my favorite paintball marker of all time, but my Cyborg is probably the best shooting marker and best performing marker I've seen.

I try to not focus on electro/pump/mech but rather why marker X is better than marker Y. Usually it depends on consistency and efficiency, which is why I'm starting to like electros.

Electro. I like to win, what else do I have to say?

HOWEVER, I absolutely balls-out LOOOOVE playing pistol. Just, in a different kind of way. When I walk onto the field with nothing but my tac-8, I feel like I'm on top of a windy mountain covered with ice and polar bears! Which is fun, somehow.

But for performance, maintenance, accuracy, effectiveness, and great happy success.... electro.

Definitely pump. I love not being weighed down with a harness and hopper and air tank its like a completely different game. I have yet to reach the level of pump awesomeness but I do have fun trying and sometimes I put up a good enough showing to perpetuate the myth.

I voted pump because the only marker I'd never get rid of in my wall of markers is my Brass. However, a classic RT mag is a very close second. Those guns are exactly what I want in a marker. (But since you had blow backs, not blow fowards, I can't vote for that.)

Electro.

I've played all three styles, with markers ranging from new hammers and razorbacks to my timmy and recently, a borrowed shocker (bleh)

Electro is by far my favorite. the blowbacks have a certain realistic heaviness to them, but they're really not that much fun to shoot. Pumps feel like toys, too light and flimsy (I've broken more than my fair share of pumps- arms and frames, especially.

I love my Timmy though. Hell, I love my IR3 (even with as broken as it is). They're lovely to shoot, they're sick to play with (especially the angel, which was my first highend, and will always hold a place in my heart) and they're durable as hell.

The other side of it is, I'm a technophile. I'll admit it. I love Tech toys- my room is filled with bits and peices of varoius custom and prototype bitz for a half dozen markers, and I'm always looking to build/buy the next toy for my rig. Mechs and pumps are too simple for me. I mean, I own one of each, as backup and thrid markers, but my electros absorb most of my tinkering time.

We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.
