I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a custom name tag for the back of my vest made? Catch is, I wanted the star of life on it as well, and so far I can't find anyone who can do one with an image...

Have you checked w/ Special Ops? I've never read about them not being able to do them, but at the same time I've never read they were able to do them ;).

You could also check w/ a local screen printer, they make the t-shirts for the local softball teams (for example).

You bought the brand, not my allegiance.

you can make your own very easily.....just take a fabric of your choosing, buy some iron-on letters and attach a velcro backing.....dun!

if you want an image, you can buy printable iron-on decals and just print them out and put them on...

Look for local custon t-shirt places as well.

You can get many places to print or stitch a logo and text, a local place will do you a deal on something as simple as a name plate and logo with velcro.

Custom embroidery is very effective, and if you have a team then the options of setup costs at the beginning will give you good prices on future team shirts, jackets etc.
A quick google goes to:

Thanks for the ideas guys. I might see if Chad can do something for me, or at least get me the name patch blank...

EDIT: I'm really liking the idea to make it all from scratch...
