Andy, are you guys planning on doing the cheap paint thing for the game at Roteman's on the 21st? If so, I'd like to get in on it with you... let me know!

Also, do you guys have anyone else that is interested, like Mrs. Menne? ;)

Well it's garish and amateur, but it's up.

www.spectrehq.org

Still plenty of planned updates on the way. Let me know your feedback.

Planning on the following pages:
  • Roster
  • News
  • Schedule/calendar
  • New intro page
Eventually I'd like to get a site professionally done, so we have some actual presence on the interwebs!

No worries Wayne! Andy told me a bit about the problem, I wish y'all the best, and let me know if I can help out in any way bro!

On the subject of the team. So far, to my count, it looks like this (in no particular order):

1. Me
2. Andy
3. Chuck
4. Wayne
5. Brian

I think it would be best if we can have a minimum of 10 guys, but really no more than 15 right now. Like I said, our team goal is to compete in the SPPL and the SPPL Rules state:

Quote

Team Size: Prior to the start of the game, each team’s captain must report to the head referee. Any team reporting at game time with fewer than six (6) players forfeits the game. No Exceptions—it’s your responsibility to know your game time. A Team may have a maximum of ten (10) starting players, with up to five (5) substitution team members for a maximum “on field team size” of fifteen (15) total players.

That way we wont have to worry about if we'll have enough guys to field a team if someone can't make it. Plus, the more people we have on the roster, the less we'll be paying for paint, air, transpo, lodging, etc individually.

It seems to me that Chad is willing to have us as his home team, I'm going to call him this week and see what kind of "official agreement" we can come to, and I'm pretty sure that one of the stipulations will that some members help out around the field from time to time, which I've already agreed to ref any games I'm not playing in (read speedball and Red Dawn for now). Let me know if you guys are interested in helping out also.
