Au contraire. Smart Parts was the most evil of companies at one point.

Smart Parts is a dead company. I think we should make a tombstone for them. That way we can all dance around while taking turns pissing on the grave....

So I take it your answer is "Yes, it's still extremely cool to hate companies for little/no reason."

Thats low man... If theres a company that we should piss on is Spyder for making crappy markers and selling em at prices that would make any real paintballer run TO Smart Parts or Tippman or Dangerous Power or Invert... Point is their markers are worthless yet their prices arrent dropping or going up.

I always thought Virtue was the most hated company.... weren't they filtered out for a while?

Thats because PbN is ran by little girls. I'm pretty Virtue fluffed their reviews and everyone got mad.

And I don't really think of SP as saving the sport. Paintball would've thrived with or without them, but it would have been a lot less annoying without hearing about the Ion every two seconds for a year or so.

Take my comment as sarcasm or being on the hatewagon, the choice is yours and it affects my life and views very little.

The fact of the matter is Fanboys are still going to rabidly defend what the Haters revile. This goes for SP, Tippmann, Kingman and every other mfg out there.

The thing with SP though is 90% of the haters don't know about the business practices. They hate because they think it's cool.

Frankly I'd like everyone to shut the hell up about it. But that's not going to happen. If SP is out of business completely it's only going to get worse, "Karma finally bit them in the ass!"

Brass Eagle should have been shut down AGES ago, allowing their marker lines to become modified squirt guns was just as bad as the "Patent Wars".

Hey. I'm an OG SP hater. I think someone still has a quote sigged about one of my $mart Part$ comments.

And whats with the hostility? I haven't heard of people discussing SP for while.

Ah SP. Damn them. How I hate that they bought up patents. Then took the money from royalities and invested it into leagues and teams. I rue the day that they brought out the Ion and created a highend mid-range market, thus over throwing the $400 A5 with e-grips at a $150 savings.

We don't need them nor the American workers that produced the products.

"Haters gonna hate" can apply to pretty much any company.

That said it's still kind of fun to make fun of some of the stuff that Smart Parts does. Everything from the Shocker's "cheater mode" to Tom Kaye laying the smackdown on Bill Gardner in on PBNation. Smart Parts just happens to have more material to than most other companies, especially if you look into their business practices.

But it doesn't matter where you go - There are many out there who adamantly want to persecute Smart Parts just as there are many who can't accept they've done a single thing wrong.

Ultimately, It's still cool, granted nobody gets too worked up about it.
