Before I get into detail I would like to point out that before I bought Empire Contact SE Gloves I had used my weight lifting gloves. Sure they were black and what doesn't match with black? But they were leather, leather is heavy, sure it doesn't seem like it'll weigh a lot but it makes you sweat more during game play. More sweat, less fun you'll have in the long run. Now to get into detail about the looks of the Empire Contact SE Gloves. These gloves look great in each of their styles and are light, they are made with several types of fabric as well.

Build
Medical Velcro; We all know what velcro does, keeps the gloves on and the dirt out. I have never had any dirt or paint get in my gloves since buying these.

Microfiber Embossed Thumb Panels; The one that I love the most is the microfiber in the glove. One this is great to rub off anything like dirt or whatever hits you in the goggles that will reduce your vision without scratching the lens.

Silicone Palm; Also there is a bit of silicon on the palm of the glove that acts as a grip so you have a better grip (obviously) on your marker so you don't drop it. I have dropped my marker before, scratched it up real good with my old gloves.

Clarino Palms; I haven't done too much research on this material but it feel great when you wear the gloves.

Styles
If your one of those players who wants to look great and feel great there are several colors you can choose from for the Empire Contact SE Gloves.

They come in the following styles: Black, Red/Black, Blue/Black, Desert/Black, and Woodland/Black.

I currently use the Woodland/Black style of Empire Contact SE Gloves and to say the least, they are the best gloves I have ever used. They match my gear set up perfectly and I am proud that I bought them.

IMO Empire contact line-up is second to Dye. Nobody else comes close.

Dye gloves look great, I just googled some.

Never owned any Dye gloves so I really don't have an opinion on them besides the look.

My Contact SE gloves are so good that I bought a second pair for when the first pair finally gives out. The ONLY problem I've had with these is that some of the rubbery grip material on the fingers opposite the fingernail area has come off. For the way I play, that is completely understandable.
