Ok, I looking to get some new goggles and I'm wondering what a good choice would be in your opinion. Although I know that a good set of goggles is key and I shouldn't buy the cheapest ones I find, I am on a budget. I also have a shunt and so that means I need full head coverage, at least IMO. I was looking at the JT Flex-8 full coverage goggles (camo) for $50, but Actionvillage.com is out of them at this point in time. So I thought I'd see what people think would be my best choice before they come back in stock, just incase there's a better choice out there. I welcome any and all useful input.

V-force profilers are very nice..you can find used in the buy/sell/trade for $45..however they are not full head cover.

Go to your local proshop and try on different masks. Come spring, I am going to upgrade my mask from a Proto Switch to something with better visibility, possibly the E-Vent.

well yes then flex-8 full coverage is probably the bast full coverge goggles cuase you might get a bounce or two.
another one you can try is the other jt full or extreme rage full.
but for other goggles the flex-7 and proflex are good. and v-force or e-vents

Sadly all we have here in Hays is a Wal-Mart. Closest pro shop is Salina and that's just out of the question.

Do you wear glasses while playing.

The masks with soft foam around the lens are more comfortable for glasses. Also the full head masks and glasses really don't mix. The head protection presses on the arms of the glasses and pushes the glasses away from your face.

I have a old Flex-7 already. I need a full coverage goggle setup.

Edit.
Yes I wear glasses full-time.

vforce profilers....super comfy, they dont fog....worst ive gotten is a bit of condensation in the lense.

whats really sweet... amazing field of vision and that u can pop the lenses out really fast. i often take mine out in the 5min gap between games to clean them.
