Ok, so a J&J barrel... my son found one on ebay that's 20".

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the 20" over the 12" and/or 14"?

anything over 16" just wastes air because of its length. otherthan that, the longer the barrel the more porting it can have. which equals more potential for quietness. anything from 12" to 16" has similar accuracy, maybe a bit better the longer u get.

the smart parts progressive is a really nice barrel and i love mine.
