These buffer the pressure when the next pod is added and the spring releases into the tube. With a downward vertical direct feed you could fire every paintball, and could have a break when the first paintball is fired from the new pod into the marker.
Regarding shooting off QLoaders I would say the user has not fitted it properly! On the classic setup with the ring mount the QLoader can turn, but not fall off. If the ring does not fit it could be dislodged if it is bodged into place. But the Q mount parts are screwed together. If this is the case the user has not put much effort into thinking how to mount it.
But if they have used the CMS kit then again it should fit together well, but it is only as secure as what it is fitted to. If theer has been a user custom mount then it is as good as they make it.
If it is a direct feed then the mount should also be secured, but some users may not attach the mount in any other way then the feed. If this is the case the feed mount has to be pretty strong to support and hold it in place.
